Job Description

CACI is seeking a Network Analyst, Lead to work in Fairfax, VA.   CACI is looking for a candidate with engineering experience to provide Tier III support for operation and maintenance of large-scale IP/MPLS/L2VPN/L3VPN networks consisting of devices that span across a variety of vendors. POSITION SUMMARY: Candidate will provide Tier III Engineering support to the Network Operations Center of a global network.  Candidate will validate Engineering designs and configurations as it pertains to the production network.  Candidate will be responsible for IOS and Code upgrades.  Candidate will mentor Tier I & II Engineers.    RESPONSIBILITIES: Tier 3+ engineering on-call support for troubleshooting of voice and data networks   Coordinate with service providers to integrate/transition WAN circuits (Leased Lines, Satellite, Internet, Carrier VPN/MPLS, SONET, Frame Relay, ATM) providing end-to-end connectivity   Plans, tests, recommends, and implements network, file server, mainframe, and workstation hardware and software.   Perform circuit testing/analysis to include packet-loss, payload and utilization using multiple vendor software applications: Ixia (IxNetwork/IxLoad/Chariot), IPerf, Spirent, Proviso, Solarwinds, Juniper RPM probes, Cisco IP SLA.   Advanced knowledge of network protocols and functions: IPV4/IPV6, MPLS ( L2VPN/L3VPN/VPLS/CCC), BGP, OSPF, IPSec, EIGRP, Quality of Service/Class of Service, Routing Policy, Traffic Engineering.   Provide structured lab testing for engineering proof-of-concept design, proactive problem identification/remediation and support of escalated operational issues.   Analyzes and resolves technical problems for new and established networks. Identify network trends taking a proactive approach to fault isolation.    Provides network documentation, training, and guidance to computing system clients and programmers. Serves as technical specialist in network problems and emergencies. Troubleshoots and resolves complex network production problems. Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.   Documents network problems and resolutions for future reference.   Provides team leadership to less experience analyst. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.     Tier III Network Engineering experience.   24x7x365 with On-call support.   Excellent communication skils, both verbal and written.      Ability to work in a team environment, as well as individually with little to no supervision.   Experience providing step-by-step equipment replacement guidance to on the ground smart hands   Experience with both Local and Wide Area Networks.   Extensive knowledge and work experience with OSPF, BGP, QoS, MPLS, RSVP, LSPs, VoIP, IPSec, GRE, Static Routes, Traffic Engineering and Route Reflectors.    Extensive knowledge and work experience with different transport mediums.  Satellite service, T1, E1, DS3, Sonet, L2VPN, L3VPN and Internet routing.     Experience opening, monitoring, and updating trouble tickets to annotate and track problems via Remedy Ticketing System.      Experience verifying defective equipment, initiates RMA procedures, and assists with replacement equipment.    Experience diagnosing the point of failure from knowledge of signal flow Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor‘s degree and seven to nine years of telecommunication analysis experience.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment.
