We believe in our customer's mission, but we also believe in our employees and their career at CACI.  CACI NSS, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer to provide cutting edge services within the Intelligence Community.   Candidate will build out a Corporate Virtual Information Processing Environment, virtual environment using VMWare ESX. Candidate will also provide tier 3 support. Identifies system integrity issues and solutions for the full system life cycle from concept to disposal.  Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.   €¢ Candidate must have experience with VMWare. €¢ Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. €¢ Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems. €¢ Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. €¢ Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. €¢ Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow. €¢ Analyze and study complex system requirements. €¢ Apply the concept of operations set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design and construction of information systems across a major sector of the organization. €¢ Perform strategic systems planning, business information planning, business and analysis. €¢ Apply, as appropriate, activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques. €¢ Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures. €¢ Other duties as assigned.   Position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph US government security clearance.   Education/Experience:   Typically requires bachelor's degree and 10 to 12 years of related experience, including one to two years of supervisory/management experience.   Required:   €¢ Excellent written, verbal communications skills €¢  Strong technical documentation skills €¢  Good customer relations skills €¢  Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize €¢  Superior team work skills balanced with the ability to work independently and have a positive attitude. €¢  Good troubleshooting skills €¢  Experience with VMware VSphere and related Cloud products €¢  Good understanding of Linux and Windows based operating systems €¢  Working knowledge of server networking Desired:   €¢  Experience using PowerCLI scripts and SQLPlus €¢  Working knowledge of various storage technologies (SAN, NFS, iSCSI, NAS) €¢  General knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and its offerings   Certification:   VIP: VMware ESX experience.
