Job Description

  POSITION SUMMARY: With a wide range of knowledge, maintains data files and control procedures for a complex system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe. Responsible for system security and data integrity. Assigns passwords and monitors use of resources, backs up files as required and responds to management requests for information.   REQUIREMENTS: Shall possess experience in Linux or Unix systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server based.   Shall have experience in SIGINT system development, integration or test (minimum 1 year) and shall have:   - Computer networking experience including node configuration and management (4+ years).   - Experience with router and other network communications equipment configuration, maintenance and management (4+ years).   - A minimum of 6 years UNIX and/or LINUX workstation, server and network support experience.   - Certification (or become certified within 6 months of being assigned to the position) as a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA). *****CACI will sponsor the certification.   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
