Job Description

This is an new opportunity in San Antonio TX in support of CACI's Aerospace Solutions Group (ASG) which anticipates substantial additional personnel requirements across a number of labor categories and levels in mid 2017, contingent on receiving awards for both the BAT (Bomber Armament Tester) and the ATSSI (Automatic Test System Sustainment Initiative).   Must be able to obtain a US Secret clearance.   Duties and Responsibilities include: - Technical oversight of automatic test system (ATE) and test program set (TPS) developments - Schedule and resource conflict resolution - Provide trade study analysis of viable engineering alternatives to establish best-fit solution - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues arising between software and hardware components - Oversee direct work of a cross-functional engineering team during the development of complex test solution - Provide daily team direction to ensure schedule and cost objectives associated with the development are being met - Prepare and present documentation to customers in both written and verbal formats - Oversee or participate in team technical data reviews to ensure all deliverables are complete and compliant - Monitors staffing levels to ensure appropriate types and levels of personnel are assigned to the project and informs the PM of related concerns     Required Experience: - Prior successful team management of DoD development project - PMP Certification  Desired Experience: - Development of automated test systems for aircraft electrical, mechanical, avionics and engine systems - Strong background in LabWindows / CVI and TestStand - Familiar with ATLAS programming constructs - Knowledge and use of ISO 9001, AS9100 or CMMI quality process standards - Experience with instrument driver development - Experience with avionics test or armament test - Experience with D-level, I-level or O-level test solution development - Experience with developing ruggedize solutions in accordance with MIL-PRF-28800 - Strong user of MS-Project - Good understanding of Earned Value Management techniques Education and Experience:  Typically requires a bachelor's degree with an advanced degree desired and a minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in a specific field of test engineering.
