POSITION SUMMARY: Technical Trainer PROFORMA position requires the individual to perform duties involving the oversight of all technical and operational functions, planning, organizing and controlling resources to complete all deliverables and services. Act as the primary focus interface for technical aspects of the team to the Program Manager; have previous experience managing a diverse and complex program comparable to the mission. Successful applicants must demonstrate domain knowledge including radar waveforms, datalink protocols, and signal parameterization. Demonstrated proficiency against common signals-of-interest must also be shown by the applicant in as far as the interview process can establish. Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform analysis at various levels to determine parametric characterizations, functions, and applications of PROFORMA signals, as well as to correlate and report on PROFORMA as pertains to scope and purpose of observed activities. Utilize sophisticated analog and digital signal processing and associated equipment. May be required to perform duties in Operational Analysis, Technical Analysis, Reporting, as Technical Advisor, or in various support areas such as Data Archiving, Data Base Maintenance, Training in various analysis disciplines, or preparation and maintenance of specific Data Files and reference data - Working with national level systems, performs PROFORMA analysis for system assessments utilizing PROFORMA analysis tools (both hardware and software) - Performs technical review of written products - Researches, organizes, writes, edits, and produces technical data in support of systems assessments Reviews and evaluates the overall reporting from assets to help determine asset validity - Ability to provide technical solutions to complex signals analysis is required - Ability to work with only minimal supervision following established procedures and the ability to determine new solutions to real-time situations is necessary - Must be able to interact with multiple customers, both on and off-site - Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information - This position requires the individual to certify and maintain proficiency on a 24/hour watch position EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Typically requires a high school diploma and 8-10 years of related experience, or a bachelor‘s degree or equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience - Basic understanding of how to characterize signal parameters. Perform search functions on technical signals of interest. Ability to prepare reports in support of operational and technical sources Desired Qualifications: - Knowledge of the following tools would be a plus: IANA, CHAUEE, IMNS, CATS, MARTES, CED, Aspen Graduate of SIGE2810/3810/4810 considered beneficial. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required. May spend a lot of time standing due to laboratory conditions.
