Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the preparation of recommendations to top management concerning human resource policies and practices.
Works closely with line/staff management and possibly corporate staff management to develop human resource plans and strategies to meet organizational requirements.
Ensures that programs, practices, and policies comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Supervises the preparation or designs and compiles reports as required by legislation or organization needs.
May plan and develop immigration policies and programs for foreign nationals.
Ensures organizational compliance with Form I-9 and all other immigration codes and regulations.
Responsible for answering complex employee questions on policy and providing interpretation.
Regularly serves as HR representative/participant and advises in working groups for corporate initiatives.
Responsible for emulating exceptional customer service in all facets of position including responding to employee requests in a professional, respectful and timely manner.
Keeps abreast of trends and changes in Human Resources legislation and makes recommendations to keep the company practices competitive in market and in compliance with state and federal governmental agencies.
Researches and recommends Human Resources policies and procedures.
May assist in the creation of procedures and communication material that document HR practices.
Participates in the establishment of short and long-range HR objectives consistent with organizational strategy.
Responsible for the employment, training, motivation, discipline and performance evaluation of assigned employees.
The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 10-12 years of related experience, with one to two years supervisory/management experience
