Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Our team has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for an Enterprise Network Architect supporting an Intelligence Community customer‘s wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. This position will be responsible for developing strategic roadmaps and providing technical oversight ensuring the infrastructure meets customer business requirements. Experience in complex IT networks involving all phases of network design, implementation, and analysis. Performs research, requirements analysis, design, installation, troubleshooting, and support of local- and wide-area network hardware, software and applications. Experience installing and configuring WAN and LAN hardware to include voice, video, and cable infrastructures. Develops vision, roadmap specifications, designs, integration and test plans, and all relevant documentation. Develops risk management and mitigation strategy. Maintain compliance with QA standards as well as ensuring service performance indicators are met or exceeded.     RESPONSIBILTIES: - Focus will be on Strategic Enterprise Engineering - Provide technical leadership on major initiatives. - Establish roadmap, goals and plans meeting customer business objectives. - Evaluate and report on new/emerging network technologies to enhance capacity, performance and reliability of the network. - Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization and industry best practices. - Brief corporate management and senior customer leadership on evolutionary initiatives enhancing service delivery over the next 2, 5 and 10 years. - Represent CACI, contract and customer with technology and service providers to develop future strategies. - Coordination for consistent sustainable multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies. - Lead the research and implementation of enterprise system-wide network solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives. - Evaluate and monitor health and performance of the network including hardware and management software. - Develop and maintain a road map for capabilities, operations, and technologies. EXPERIENCE: - Assess network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts to ensuring attainment of performance and availability objectives. - Follows all Customer network security processes and procedures, ensures compliance with all Government policies. - Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies. - Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams. - Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance - Ability to travel up to 15% of the time - Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior/executive management - Proficient is MS Office suite -“ Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project   EDUCATION: - Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science or related field   CERTIFICAITONS: N/A   CLEARANCE LEVEL: -          TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph     DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: - Master‘s degree in Computer Science or related field - DOD 8570 IAT-2/IAT-3 certification - CISCO CCNP, CCVP, CCNA, CCDP or CCIE - Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCDS or JNCIE - ITIL v3 Foundations
