Job Description

This is an new Business Development opportunity in San Antonio TX in support of the  Aerospace Solutions Group (ASG) which anticipates substantial additional personnel requirements across a number of labor categories and levels beginning in early calendar year 2017, contingent on receiving awards for both the BAT (Bomber Armament Tester) and the ATSSI (Automatic Test System Sustainment Initiative). RESPONSIBILTIES: - Creates a wide variety of documents (often complex) such as reports, spreadsheets, presentations that require expert knowledge of several software programs; often composes first drafts of documents - Interface with personnel to coordinate meetings, maintain logs, records and files - Provide assistance to assigned staff with travel coordination support and submission of travel expense reports - Provide on-boarding/off-boarding support for assigned staff - Provide purchasing support to ATS organization - Provide logistics support to organization (i.e., coordinating facility related issues, maintaining office supplies for assigned personnel, etc.) - Maintain visitor/access control within facility (i.e., receive visitors, issuing of visitor access badges, etc.) following proper security procedures - Perform other administrative duties as assigned in support of the ATS organization - May oversee the activities of other nonexempt personnel; Administrative Assistants - May provide orientation and training to lower level employees; Administrative Assistants REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - Must have solid working knowledge of MS Office suite applications - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and administrative processes - Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality - Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Good problem solving skills and ability to be proactive in initiating administrative improvements - Ability to work independently, as well as with a team   DESIRED EXPERIENCE:   - Experience working as a travel arranger/coordinator and providing assistance with submission of travel expense reports - Working knowledge/experience with SharePoint - Prior experience working in a federal/DoD environment   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: HS degree or equivalent certificate   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required. ATSHP
