POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, performs a variety of specific professional non-complex engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature. Participates on project teams as required and receives close guidance and instruction from more experienced engineers and/or supervisor when working in more complex areas. Engineering activities support both domestic and international products/services. RESPONSIBILTIES: Performs routine engineering assignments of an analysis, design or test nature requiring application of specific standard techniques and procedures. Performs routine technical engineering related work for specific projects as part of a team. May work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers. Conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assists in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications. Prepares database and job related programming for computer-based systems. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
