Management reserves the right to review and revise this document at any time.     POSITION SUMMARY:   This position is specifically for .NET C# Web Developer.  The Web Developer/Programmer performs the following duties:  develops and maintains websites and/or applications while ensuring cross-browser, platform compatibility, and compliance with 508 mandate. Knowledge of SQL database design and development required. Experience working with SharePoint development .Net features, web parts, custom list, and workflows preferred.   Under general supervision, develops custom programs for web sites that will attract users. Possesses a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations. Creates and maintains web applications and new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C#, JavaScript/JQuery or other languages to make business applications accessible.     RESPONSIBILITIES:   Creates and maintains custom programs for websites utilizing various updated and cutting edge technologies.   Implements client/company product features into new and existing websites.   Works with Program Management team and other developers to develop and document improvements for existing processes.   Works with others to develop and implement proprietary content & data management systems built with various technologies into new and existing websites.   Works with Frontend Developers to codes web pages utilizing XHTML and CSS and other computer coding languages, following industry standards.   Able to  work with several programming languages including SQL, .Net C#, and JavaScript as well as combinations of languages.  Developer should be familiar with both Server/Client side development.     EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:   Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Candidates with current TS/SCI poly are preferred.    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
