POSITION SUMMARY: CACI is seeking highly experienced Integration Engineers to be part of our team of telecommunications and acquisition professionals facilitating the migration of numerous Government Agencies from their current telecommunications provider to a new contract and provider. The successful candidates must be experienced in LAN/ WAN design and implementation support and deployment of network and security technologies. They will work with the customer agencies to installs, configures, and operates networks in highly complex environments and may act as team leaders for others doing these tasks RESPONSIBILTIES: Assists the customer agencies with understanding of the new contract scope, services, pricing, and technological solutions for transitioning telecommunications systems, equipment, and facilities. Apply principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of expertise to specific requirements and develops practical, innovative solutions. Performs analysis and validation of telecommunications inventories and resolves discrepancies. Define requirements, provides input to solicitation development, and assists with contractor selection. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent, and a minimum 14 years experience. Must have experience in the operational environment and using high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation methodologies on complex problems that require in-depth knowledge of the telecommunications and network subject matter for effective implementation. Must have Excellent oral and written communication skills. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: PMP or equivalent project management certification. Experience with Federal agencies‘ telecommunications systems and network designs, especially those procured through the GSA‘s regional local service contracts. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
