We believe in our customer‘s mission, but we also believe in our employees and their career at CACI.   CACI NSS, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Middleware Engineer to provide cutting edge services within the Intelligence Community.   The selected candidate will lead efforts to support Cloud applications in the customer‘s cloud environments. This will include designing and documenting baselines and designs for both custom developed applications and COTS application suites. The candidate will be part of the Cloud engineering team and work with other Cloud IT professionals to implement cloud based solutions, as well as define requirements and operational procedures for applications. The candidate must be comfortable briefing technical solutions to customers and peers.   Reference: EIT3HP EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:   Candidate must have one of the following:   BA/BS + 10-15 Years   Position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph US government security clearance.     Required - Demonstrated expert-level knowledge of the full lifecycle software development process (7+ years -˜experience) - Web development experience - Development experience in Java-Python or C++ - Some experience with PHP - Ability to write scripts (Powershell, Unix/Linux, PHP, JavaScript) for automation of web server and web application deployments - Good understanding of engineering processes and creating documents - Familiar with Linux or Windows operating systems: CentOS, RedHat, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 - Database interfacing and/or DBA experience: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Amazon Relational - Database Service (RDS) - Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired - Experience with at least one application migration to Amazon Web Services - Experience with Joomla - Familiarity with development on Windows operating systems: Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Windows 7 - Experience with Lotus Notes Databases (as we are converting data from Lotus to other repositories) - Familiarity with JSON - Familiarity with Splunk Experience with any of the following: - Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) - Auto Scaling for Linux - CloudFront - Auditing Changes to Amazon EC2 Security Groups - CloudFormation - AWS Tools for Powershell - Amazon CloudWatch - Using Dynamic Registration and Dashboards for Amazon EC2 Instances - Amazon CloudFront for Dynamic Content Acceleration - Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) - Elastic Block Store (EBS) - Elastic Load Balancing - Simple Storage Service (S3) - AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) - Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) Certifications   Desired: MCSE, AWS Dev Assoc. or equivalent Preferred: ServiceNow, Splunk or similar   Keywords:   Middleware, Systems Engineer, Cloud, Amazon, AWS
