Description: CACI is seeking an eager candidate to work as part of a dynamic team of network engineers developing secure LAN and WAN services for a world wide area network. Lead network engineering projects focused on boundary control solutions, security of network transport systems and related network security tool solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: Successful network engineer candidates will have strong communication skills (verbal, technical writing and presentation skills) and will be responsible for leading solutions to satisfy architecture requirements. The network engineer must be able to design, support, troubleshoot, and recommend alternate solutions for a United States Government customer network within a team work environment. The network engineer must also be able to participate in engineering analysis and technical support on a variety of tasks. The network engineer must be able to develop network configuration scripts and transition plans. The network engineer must have foundational knowledge of BGP (EBGP/IBGP), OSPF, MPLS, and QoS strategies. As a project technical lead, the successful candidate will be required to provide program management assistance, contribute input to schedules, as well as, risk and cost management. Required Qualifications: Top Secret Clearance is required Candidate must be able to upgrade to TS/SCI w/poly 8+ years of experience with security solutions for networks including firewalls, Network Intrusion Detection Systems (N-IDS) and Host IDS (H-IDS), Email Security Appliances, etc. 5+ years‘ experience engineering Wide Area Networks 5+ years documenting network device configuration item designs Experience writing configuration item documentation and creating network diagrams using Visio Expert knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routers, switches and firewalls Experience with both Cisco and Juniper command line interfaces Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical/problem solving ability, time management and organizational skills Strong communications skills Desired Qualifications: CISCO and/or Juniper certifications CCNA Security Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Security (JNCIS-SEC) Experience with SD-WAN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 12 to 15 years of relevant experience are required but for this position a Bachelor‘s with 8+ years, Masters with 6 years, PhD with 4 years, Associates with 10 years is acceptable.
