POSITION SUMMARY: (Senior Enterprise Solution Architect) CACI is looking for experienced senior solution architects interested in working with Federal Government customers to translate their vision and objectives into transformational enterprise business solutions. We need technologists to join CACI's solutions and strategy group who understand how to implement and sustain end-to-end solutions that improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of Federal business processes while helping customer to adapt to evolving mission and policy needs. Our solution architects will apply technical, information technology, and enterprise business knowledge and experience to coordinate the design, development and implementation of various business systems including those associated with human capital, financial management, logistics/asset/material/supply chain management, acquisition and other business systems. We need SAs with a demonstrated ability to think strategically about customer needs and craft innovative solutions within complex technical and business environments that produce measurable value in support of realizing customer mission, technology and business goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for all aspects of new solution development from discerning the need, to synthesizing the solution, conducting design studies and trade-offs, packaging solution within proposals and oral presentations, substantiating cost/schedule, and collaborating with customers to obtain feedback. - Builds relationships with potential customers to identify and understand mission needs and to explore alternative approaches. - Communicates clearly (written and verbal); determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desire outcomes. - May lead a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals, engineers, and scientists responsible for the research and development of technical solutions and architectures in support of program objectives. - Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts in combination with an understanding of evolving technology trends and best practices in order to develop innovative and differentiating solutions and ideas for complex problems. - Works independently while collaborating and consulting with customers, capture executives, and other solution architects. - Constructs the overall system architecture or technical solution, to include external and internal interface analysis, internal interface definition, and functional requirement allocations. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, software development, information technology, business management or other STEM field. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Active preferred) Experience - Required - 10+ years enterprise systems integration, engineering, consulting and/or development background with a focus on ERP on business system strategy and delivery - Prior experience as a solution architect supporting new business pursuits and proposal development activities in a public sector environment. - Expertise in business systems integration in a public sector setting with advanced skill sets in one or more of the following areas: - Business transformation and/or business process reengineering - Software engineering & development - Application portfolio management - Business intelligence and data analytic - Proven strong communication skills (written and verbal); determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desire outcomes. - Proven self-starter who seizes and maintains the initiative in ambiguous situations; Proven willingness to challenge the status quo and propose new and innovative solutions to the most complex challenges - Capable of managing multiple assignments of varied duration, scope, topic, function, priority and schedule Experience - Desired - Expertise and experience in technical leadership roles implementing and integrating one or more COTS/ERP solutions within the public sector. Oracle/SAP ERP integration experience preferred. - Federal business process domain expertise within one or more of the following areas in a U.S. Federal public sector context: - Financial management - Human resource management - Logistics, asset and materials management - Acquisition/procurement - Experience developing and writing winning technical proposals for multiple Federal customers - Experience with architecting data exchange and data migration solutions PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
