Web/User Interface Developer   POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a mid to senior level User Interface developer with experience in the design and coding of web applications with HTML, CSS, ReactJS and/or JavaScript while delivering cutting-edge web-based applications. The developer will work closely with our UX expert in analyzing requirements and producing an innovative and polished product that meets our customer‘s needs and simplify the user experience. The primary duties will include design and development for internal GUI web-based applications. Solid teamwork and excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. RESPONSIBILTIES: - Complete all tasks related to technical analysis, design, development and unit testing, quality assurance, system test and implementation of ReactJS web application in accordance with the IT development life cycle - Analyze requirements, design, build and test system components or amendments - Be prepared to carry out business analysis tasks to ensure that the development/change meets user requirements and expectations - Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of systems (Software Design Documents) - Always conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined - Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisors and management using clear, user-friendly terminology Required Qualifications: - Must hold an active Secret clearance - Minimum of 5 years of web markup including HTML5/CSS3 - Minimum of 5 years of client-side scripting experience using jQuery - Minimum of 5 years of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS - Proficient experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap - Experience with APIs and web services for consuming JSON Desired Qualifications: - Experience with ReactJS, React Router, Flux/Reflux, Swagger - Experience writing UI centric unit tests using Jest or similar frameworks - Understanding of asynchronous requests and AJAX - Knowledge of Object Oriented design principles and design patterns - Detailed-oriented, problem-solving skills - Proficient knowledge of image authoring tools including Photoshop, Illustrator - Experience implementing UX/UI design methodologies for GUI applications, including: information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping Additional Qualifications: - Experience with designing mobile applications - Experience with usability evaluations and testing - Knowledge of Section 508 compliance - Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team-based government environment   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree and five to seven years of related experience.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
