Database developer/Reports developer Herndon, Virginia TS/SCI FS Poly Responsibilities: Looking for a back-end software developer to manage, execute, and maintain a suite of reports for a large flagship application for the customer's organization. Additional O&M development work as required within the legacy application. 1. Develop expertise and understanding over time, in all key customer reports. 2. Develop expertise and understanding over the long term, in all customer reports. 3. Collect and refine reports requirements from stakeholders. Hold requirements gathering sessions as appropriate. 4. Develop user stories with report requirements, and provide system testing for those and all reporting based user stories. 5. Deliver monthly and annual reports per the defined delivery schedule. 6. Deliver ad-hoc reports as they are approved for delivery. 7. Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions as the report POC for the project. Required Skills: Oracle 11, SQL Desired Skills: Oracle 12c, Java, .net, C# EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and 10-12 years of related experience, with one to two years supervisory/management experience.
