Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Serves as a senior technical resource in Physical Security with key responsibilities for assisting in the daily management of the company‘s installation and administration of large scale security technology systems, conducts risk and vulnerability assessments, site surveys and gap analyses; oversight of contracted guard service operations, general investigations, and compliance with government and company physical security policies, and standards.   RESPONSIBILTIES: Assists in the development and implementation of the physical security program in coordination with security management.     Participates in administering Physical Security's enterprise security technology systems program.   Prepares security system equipment designs, inspects facilities, evaluates effectiveness of existing security practices, recommends control requirements, procedures, and makes determination or recommendation concerning entry control, intrusion detection and video (CCTV) systems.   Provides physical security project management supporting Industrial Security ICD 705, NISPOM, and Corporate compliant enterprise-wide physical security systems.     Evaluates security system requirements and makes recommendations. Presents new concepts, identifies problems, recommends, and implements solutions. May prepare contract specifications, establish performance standards, and administer contract technical requirements for equipment and services.   Establishes, analyzes, develops and effectively executes security related project design, schedules, and project budgets.   Performs security risk assessments and site surveys. Proposes recommended solutions to reduce operational, security, and general safety risks.   Assists in development of policies, procedures, and standards for the protection and safeguarding of personnel, facilities and operations.   Assists in oversight of CACI‘s Emergency Preparedness program, provide guidance in development of Emergency Action Plans, and Crisis response and other contingencies.   Acts as liaison with local, state and federal agencies.           EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Qualifications Possess exceptional organizational skills, can multi-task and have strong oral and written communications skills. Experience developing and implementing physical security protective design concepts supporting government and or corporate industrial and physical security programs.      Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program and ICD 705 construction requirements preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in general facility construction concepts and managing large scale security technology systems (Access management, CCV, and IDS) projects.   Ability to read blue prints, and prepare technical security plan drawings using MS Visio/CAD Lite, or other design software.    SME in technology system general specifications and performance standards in Access Control Management, CCV platforms, and Intrusion Detection. Experience in Tyco security systems (SoftwareHouse Platform) highly desirable.    Sound experience in managing fast track security installation projects which require execution of strong project management principles, methods, and practices including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and evaluating and reporting on accomplishments.   Ability to communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel and prepare and present briefings to management officials on complex or controversial issues.   Sound knowledge and skills in conducting general physical security operational duties including guard service operations, access management, security site vulnerability surveys, policy and process development, and other duties.   Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent current and relevant work experience.   Minimum five to seven years‘ experience in a progressively responsible physical security specialist role.     Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate, and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments.   Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
