Systems Administrator -“ TS/SCI Poly -“ Lanham, Maryland CACI is seeking a lead systems administrator to support CACI and customer site DevOps projects for an IC customer. The successful candidate will have strong background in administering systems in both development and O&M environments. Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating skills in virtualization technologies as well as experience supporting systems within the IC community. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain and support enterprise Windows-based systems in an IC environment. - Configure new servers, virtual machines, and PCs appropriately as required. - Learn and apply virtualization strategies (VMWare, OpenStack, AWS, etc.). - Provide technical advice on system architectures and workings of all computers, virtual machines, and other hardware utilized in each supported projects ecosystem. - Support DevOps team by providing routine OS, software, and application support for systems deployed both internally and at customer locations. - Participate in a rotation with other personnel to provide onsite support coverage at customer location per contract SLA. - Interact with customer‘s end user community to provide technical and application support. - Perform special projects as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience. REQUIRED SKILLS: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. - 7+ years of professional experience in a system and network administration role. - Experience with program design, hardware maintenance, operating systems, networking, and cloud solutions. - Knowledge of Microsoft computer networks and systems. - Knowledge of virtualization and storage area networks - Experience providing database backup and recovery operations - Broad knowledge of personal computers at the laptop and desktop level. - Working knowledge of various communications protocols and hardware, i.e. Ethernet, TCP/IP, switches, routers. - Good documentation/technical writing skills. - Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner. - Available to work extra hours and occasionally during non-business hours to support application deployments or other support operations. - Ability to work well in a group. - US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph required Company Description: CACI employs a diverse range of talent to create an environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement and success.
