Work Description: As a Warehouseman - Developmental, a typical day might include the following: - Warehousemen at the Developmental level work under close daily contractor supervision and are assigned to the Property Reutilization warehouse work units. Entry/developmental warehousemen are expected to develop a proficiency in the duties of that work unit. - Ability to sanitize/remove information from media or equipment so that data recovered using any known technique or analysis is prevented. - Removal of Customer unique items. - Removal of media, batteries and any related stickers. - Ability to separate/sort all item per customer request and/or per APTIC standard operating procedures for secure destruction, by Sterility type and/or equipment type. - Ability to assist in the reconfiguration/renovation of the PTI spaces as necessary. - Ability to use hand tools and/or equipment related to the disassembly or sanitization of equipment, i.e. shredder, degausser, and drills. - Ability and willingness to escort and/or drive government vehicles to disposal vendors as needed, not limited to WMA area. Required Qualifications: - TS/SCI with Polygraph - Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. - Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Desired Qualifications: - Special certifications: Forklift certification. X-ray machine and Shredder operation approval.
