POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to provide on-site technical support to government and contractor personnel using customer database applications. This professional will work as a member of a team to ensure the timely satisfaction of user requests for database reports and general assistance as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish and maintain user accounts across multiple applications; provide application training to both new and advanced users; quality control of security data using direct command line interface to retrieve and modify database information; Use Oracle SQLPlus to retrieve and modify database information; define and produce SQL reports to satisfy customer's processing, statistical, operational, and ad hoc needs; provide technical liaison support between Customer management, database users, and software development teams. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
