Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, provides on-site project management/administrative support and coordination to a complex contract, project, task(s) or business unit. Duties may include contract accounting and reporting, project schedule focus to management, tracking annual fiscal plans and monthly updates, payroll/personnel processing, maintenance and reporting, contract administration, purchasing, facility leasing and service administration. Maintains contract budgets, prepares contract-billing, estimates materials, equipment, production costs and delivery schedules. May oversee facility administration and purchases of equipment and supplies as related to contract requirements.   RESPONSIBILTIES: Responsible for supporting Program Managers in the preparation and analysis of project financial and scheduling data and other complex contract, project or business related task. Prepares project cost/schedule baselines, weekly preparation of management financial reports, preparation of monthly program review. Helps create and maintain the program schedule. Interfaces with all functional levels of the program team to develop and status schedule requirements. Works to establishing and controlling program budgets. Participates in managing cost and schedule performance through analysis of performance metrics and projections. Reports cost and schedule performance to the Program Office and Senior Management. Works on the analysis of budgeting and costs on the contract and associated reports and spending plans. Works to ensure compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations. Provides weekly and monthly transactional and pricing support to programs. Performs complex financial/administrative reporting for major contracts and/or programs. Monitors progress of program requirements. Maintains contract budgets, prepares contract billing, estimates materials, equipment, production costs and delivery schedules. May oversee facility administration and purchases of equipment and supplies as related to contract requirements.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS   Experienced in preparation and data analysis  Experience in finance, business, or project management  Highly organized and attentive to details  Initiative taker   Excellent interpersonal skills  Strong Microsoft Excel skills  Experience developing or providing input to streamlined financial reporting that uses common data fields.   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and two years of related (technical project support or management) experience.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
