Job Description

Position Summary: This position is a C++ programmer to develop, code, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document software for a mission critical large-scale DoD ACAT I program. Duties and Responsibilities: -Should be able to analyze, debug and write large and complex C programs. -Ability to transform complex requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions -Perform detailed application design as appropriate. -Participate in the evaluation, recommendation and selection of hardware and software solutions. -Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures and monitor system for expected performance. -Perform root cause analysis on issues and determine action items for prevention and resolution. -Front-end integration experience working with development teams for deploying applications. -Author and maintain design and technical documentation. Required Qualifications: -Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of related experience. -Must hold an active Secret (or higher) clearance. -Expert C++ programmer. -Experience with a recognized software development lifecycle methodology. -Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment (e.g., open seating arrangement). -Strong written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills.   Preferred Qualifications: -Ability to develop and present briefings related to specifications and requirements to peers and senior level personnel     PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
