We believe in our customer‘s mission, but we also believe in our employees and their career at CACI.   CACI NSS, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Administrator to provide cutting edge services within the Intelligence Community.   Responsible for Windows servers and the operating systems software and its successful integration with the hardware and applications software of the major computing systems across the organization. Responsible for installation and maintenance of the Windows-based operating configurations on all organization Windows servers and desktops and also serve as technical referent on engineering review boards considering all additions to or changes to the operating environment .   Install and maintain the Windows-based operating configurations on all organization servers and desktops. Troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and the network. Provide technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment. Provide guidance and technical assistance as needed. Maintain and update documentation on the operating systems configuration. Manage software life cycles. Serve as technical referent on engineering review boards considering all additions to or changes to the operating environment.   Participate in review boards for all changes or additions to the standard configuration within the organization. Participate in various design reviews.   Specialized Qualifications: Considerable knowledge of operating systems, organizations operating environment, network requirements, and ability to anticipate impact on respective operating systems to include: Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and MS Project, various utility applications.   Considerable knowledge of the organizational standards for operating configurations, security constraints, and procedures for managing organization software. Ability to work with system developers to elicit requirements and engage in joint project planning. Working knowledge of project management techniques to plan and execute projects. Ability to research the latest technological developments in the relevant operating systems to identify impact on organization operating systems and to anticipate changes.    Ideally, the successful candidate will: - Provide application deployment support on COTS including Custom Applications, Cloud and physical based, and/or Open Source services - Coordinate between multiple client branches, functions, and enterprise services - Serve as a primary technical interface, responsible for successful integration of the operating systems, hardware, applications, and software across the sponsor‘s organization - Be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving application and server disruptions and restoration issues - Install, patch and upgrade applications within and across enterprise environment, and maintain the Windows-based operating configurations on all organization servers and desktops - Troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and the network. Provide technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment.     Reference: EIT3HP EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and 12 to 15 years of related experience.   Position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph US government security clearance.     Required   IBM Lotus Certified Admin (Notes Domino 8 or 9) IBM Lotus Certified Developer MS Windows 2008, 2012 MS Networking Essentials LINUX System Administrator Full Performance IT Service Management Past experience interfacing w/all GIO/TSO components
