Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for Microsoft Windows systems administration of physical and virtual systems in support of COTS and custom applications.  Works with a team of engineers in architecting and maintaining Windows based systems to support business operations.  Will assist with backup, restore and archival operations.  Will ensure highest availability of applications to end-users/customers possible.  Will ensure file services, web services, application services and database services are monitored and maintained.  Will research & recommend upgrades, performance improvements, monitoring solutions, etc. as necessary to continue web hosting growth.  Will coordinate with the database administrators, applications developers, etc. as necessary to help identify performance and other issues as they arise.  Will operate under the guidelines of all corporate and security requirements as they are currently written and or modified in the future.  Required Qualifications: - Requires bachelor's degree (in a technical discipline) or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience.  - Proven hands on experience in Microsoft Active Directory GPOs, configuration and administration - Proven hands on experience in troubleshooting, managing, and maintaining Windows based systems including Server 2008, and 2012 - Experience in deploying high-availability and disaster recovery solutions on Microsoft platforms including Active Directory and Microsoft SQL Server (AlwaysOn) - Strong team communication and drive to ensure constant improvement in service, capabilities and results   Desired Qualifications: - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) - Security Certifications (CISSP, Security+) - Experience in applications such as Relativity, iConect, Clearwell, iPro - Experience with NetBackup - Experience with PIV/CAC card authentication   Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance
