POSITION SUMMARY: CACI has an immediate opening for a Project Scheduler/Acquisition Support for PEO IWS 6.0 in our Washington, DC location. PEO IWS 6.0 requires Professional Support Services (PSS) for Acquisition and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). PEO IWS 6.0 leads a professional and experienced organization that delivers the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and other Sensor Netting/Track Management (SN/TM) tools to the Fleet. This PEO IWS 6.0 task requirement is for the development, implementation, and maintenance of schedules and other acquisition support. This effort will provide fundamental management support and tools that are critical to the support, planning, scheduling, and execution of PEO IWS 6.0 work efforts. RESPONSIBILTIES: The Project Scheduler/Acquisition Analyst will work to develop and maintain acquisition documents and schedules to enable the Program Office to: * Develop and Maintain Acquisition Planning Documents and Project Schedules * Identify and assess actual progress versus the planned progress * Monitor the program critical path and help develop work-arounds to problem areas * Assess the status of risk management activities based on the inclusion of the program risk mitigation activities in an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) * Be responsible for creating and maintaining schedules in MS Project as well as setting up the tasks and sub-tasks in the IMS‘s to ensure satisfactory realization of project requirements * Roll up individual project plans and dependencies in an IMS and provide summary-level schedule Gantt charts for coordination and reporting purposes * Plan, track, analyze, and report on tasks/projects. Evaluate task/project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas. Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-arounds * Analyze task/project schedule variances and advise management of discrepancies and anticipated problems in a timely manner * Interact with task/project teams to schedule work and incorporate such information into an IMSEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: -- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 7-9 years of related experience that includes scheduling DoD acquisition processes (DoD 5000 Series). -- Minimum 5 years‘ experience supporting defense acquisition programs utilizing DoD 5000 Series Acquisition processes. -- Strong background in Microsoft (MS) Project. -- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills. -- Exceptional focus on quality and attention to detail. -- Competent in the use of MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. -- Active DoD secret clearance. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: -- Level III Acquisition Professional Development Certification desired. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
