This position will be supporting the Defense Medical Information Exchange (DMIX) program. DMIX delivers IT solutions that provide healthcare teams and benefits adjudicators with more medical information than ever before, in real-time. By making critical health information more accessible to medical teams and benefits adjudicators, DMIX makes a real difference for patients and beneficiaries. POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Analyst will serve as a senior analyst on a range of complex program activities requiring application of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment of complex management processes, systems and mission support programs. RESPONSIBILTIES: Performs a variety of complex analytical tasks in support of one or more contract programs. Develops plans, including budgets, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program(s). Establishes and defines program plan requirements and directs or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans. Monitors and reports performance and programmatic documents against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met. Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements. Performs business development activities. Conducts research and develops information to understand major weapons, or other defense or homeland security systems and information systems and structures including cost, schedule and risk data. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related (project support or management) experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
