POSITION SUMMARY: Support training requirements for an Army Product Manager responsible for developing, fielding, and sustaining electronic sensor systems. Provide training, operations, and maintenance expertise for sensor systems integrated onto vehicle platforms. Requires experience in training sensor systems and in working as a client-site Army contractor. Regular duty location is at an Army customer location. May require overseas deployment to support urgent operational needs. With wide range of knowledge develops and presents complex training programs for customers and in-house employees. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates with sales, marketing, logistics, personnel investigation, and program and operations to identify program needs. Based on identified needs, develops outline of training program and reviews with appropriate management personnel. Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules. Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations. Based on this evaluation, modifies training for future sessions as necessary. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing areas of expertise and training skills. Required Qualifications: Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, and 10-12 years of related (training, military, and/or logistics) experience. Relevant training and sensor systems expertise may be considered in lieu of formal education. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
