POSITION SUMMARY: CACI is seeking an experienced technologist with proven experience in a broad range of enterprise information technologies and methodologies. The ideal candidate will be both a leader and an agent of change who can lead in disruptive innovations, apply and foster engineering discipline to individuals and teams, work closely with internal and customer resources at all levels, and guide the organization's strategic technical vision. The selected candidate will be accountable for identifying and overseeing technical investments; providing technical leadership and forethought; leading the solution development for Operations-led captures and acquisitions; defining and maintaining the organizational knowledge management portfolio; and interfacing with Customers and Partners to identify trends, prospective product offerings, and growth opportunity. The successful candidate must be effective in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities; adapt to technological and customer trends and focal areas; and is proactive and passionate advocate for cutting edge technology. This role acts as the Senior, hands-on technical leader within the Operating Group. Interpersonal skills, practical technical abilities, and a confident and resilient attitude are essential. RESPONSIBILTIES: Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: €¢ Leadership: As the technical lead for the operating group, provides relevant, timely information about technology trends within the context of customer needs. Provides subject matter expertise to both corporate and program activities. Identifies skill and technology gaps across the organization and proactively works to fill them. €¢ Execution: As necessary, works directly with program resources to evaluate and/or implement new technologies and methodologies; represents company and operating group at client or sponsor meetings, trade shows, and conferences; creates and presents briefings and/or white papers; participates in industry and/or corporate groups and a member of technical consortia. Acts as the operating group primary technical expert and solution architect. Authors and leads responses to market surveys, requests for information, and requests for proposals. €¢ Accountability: Fully accountable for the delivery or services, solutions and products on time and within budget. Proactively identifies and mitigates or eliminates risks. Critically, communicates frequently and fully with line and senior leadership, regardless of circumstances. €¢ Collaboration: Influences and works collaboratively with corporate technical resources and other elements of CACI to achieve strategic objectives, increase customer and corporate value, and promote awareness of opportunities. Creates awareness of dependencies, obstacles, and risks; provides solutions, thought leadership, and mitigation strategies as appropriate. Advises appropriate personnel of the latest technology developments and advances, and how/where such advances can be applied to CACI business lines. €¢ Business Development and Growth: Leads the development of - and personally develops - responses to RFIs, RFQs, Market Surveys, and RFPs within the OG. Provides solution architecture and technical subject matter expertise on proposal efforts. Drives proposal and response activities forward with a positive and productive attitude. Interacts with business development and operations resource to define and communicate strategic goals for the OG, particularly those that shape acquisitions efforts. Works with senior leadership to identify and codify OG competencies and capabilities, proactively communicates and evangelizes those capabilities, and can speak intelligently about them to resources at all levels. Moreover, works across the Operating Group to identify, mature, and optimize future technical talent. EDUCATION: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 16 or more years of experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience. EXPERIENCE: €¢ Deep technical expertise in such fields as software engineering; the software development lifecycle; development methodologies; DevOps; cloud architecture and migration; and other elements of enterprise information technology. €¢ Demonstrated experience in soliciting, decomposing, and responding to customer technical requirements. €¢ Significant solution engineering and technical writing experience. €¢ Strong speaking, presentation, and negotiation skills. €¢ Ability to work independently with little direction or guidance; a strong positive outlook with the desire to determine €œhow it can be done€ rather than €œwhy it can't be done€. CLEARANCE REQUIRMENTS: €¢ Active and current Top Secret clearance; ability and willingness to acquire TS/SCI with Poly DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: €¢ Advanced degree in a technical discipline €¢ Certifications: o ITIL Foundations (Advanced certification is a plus) o Certified Scrum Master o AWS Associate or Professional certifications o Project Management Professional PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
