Job Description

The National Time Sensitive System (NTSS) provides mission critical end-to-end message processing and dissemination of time sensitive SIGINT reports to customers worldwide.  The software engineers who support this project provide sustainment and maintenance to the enhanced NTSS Distributed Architecture (eNDA) and are responsible for software enhancements, product unit testing, integration, and requirements analysis. The Senior Software Engineer shall have a minimum of seven years of experience in software development and testing environments, having success in gathering requirements with traceability to test, identifying areas of technical risk, implementing and installing new software loads, and developing and testing test plans and procedures.  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience.   Required Skills: €¢ TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph €¢ Looking for Software developers with 7+ years of programming experience on diverse platforms is required.  Experience in the overall software development lifecycle and demonstrated ability performing software design, development, test plan development and execution, and implementation is required.  Experience in working with Java, JDK, J2EE, EJB, JSP, MySQL, and Linux/UNIX Operating Systems; and  experience installing and maintaining security patches is required.  The engineers must have knowledge of and be able to understand and effectively use automated CM tools.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
