Our team has expertise in cloud computing solutions, cyber solutions, systems engineering, application development, and data storage.   Consider joining CACI, an industry leader, as we support all facets of our customer's IT space, including collaboration, desktop, platform, security access and auditing services.   CACI NSS, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer to provide cutting edge services within the Intelligence Community.     The Senior Security Engineer and Cyber Strategist is responsible for coordinating comprehensive strategic program and project plans in support of Enterprise IT initiatives; evaluating risks and proposing risk mitigation strategies; defining, evaluating, and recommending new technologies that support information sharing through MLS, MSLS, and MILS solutions; developing Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) support documentation IAW applicable DoD and IC directives; and providing subject matter expertise for Cyber Security architecture activities through written and verbal guidance on current and emerging IA standards, processes, and best practices. Duties: €¢ Acts as an advisor to Government management and conduct regular briefings €¢ Performs systems management and integration functions as needed €¢ Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations €¢ May analyze or recommend commercially available software €¢ Incorporates engineering strategies for introducing new technology into the Sponsor's infrastructure related business processes, namely, Collection, Analysis, Production and Dissemination €¢ Develops future technology and architectural advancements to support enterprise cyber strategy and the CIO architectural strategy, technology migration, and integration and evolution €¢ Applies knowledge of enterprise IT needs to design improved processes, generate valid requirements, and ensures these are consistent with the Sponsor's CIO enterprise technical architecture (ETA) and Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) €¢ Acts as an advisor and proposes changes to the ETA based on analysis of requirements and new technology €¢ Works with appropriate parties to resolve discrepancies between proposed IT systems and enterprise quality and security standards €¢ Establish functional or system standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed €¢ Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability €¢ Evaluate and make tactical and strategic recommendations for the system architecture, architecture of the hardware, communications, data security, messaging, applications, office automation, printing, administration, support, performance, and availability €¢ Produce and provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams €¢ Communicate project information through presentations, technical reports or white papers €¢ Define and analyze objectives, scope, issues, or organizational impact of information systems. €¢ Develop or approve project plans, schedules, or budgets. €¢ Establish functional or system standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed. €¢ Evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability. €¢ Monitor system operation to detect potential problems. €¢ Establish applicable standards and practices for development through the Developer's Forum(s) and the Sponsor's Enterprise Technical Architecture. €¢ Provide support staff daily supervision and direction. €¢ Develop plans for Information Technology (IT) systems from project inception to conclusion. €¢ Define the problem, and develop system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed designs, programs, and tests.         Reference: EIT3HP   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:   Candidate must have one of the following: - 12 Years of job related experience and a High School/GED diploma - 10 Years of job related experience and an Associate degree - 8 Years of job related experience and a Bachelor's Degree - 6 Years of job related experience and a Master's degree - 4 Years of job related experience and a Doctorate Position requires the ability to maintain a Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph US government security clearance.     Required   Strong IT infrastructure background including familiarity with the following:  Networking (TCP/IP, UDP, Routing)Applications (HTTP, SMTP, DNS, FTP, SSH, etc.)Encryption (DES, AES, RSA) and hashing algorithms (MD5, SHA-1, etc.)System/Application vulnerabilities and exploitationOperating systems (Windows, *Nix, and Mac)Cloud technology (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, AWS)  Well-rounded background in host, network and application security as well as common security vulnerabilities, AWS relevant design and configuration flaws, and security best practicesUnderstanding of industry accepted security standards, network security monitoring capabilities, response actions and best practices related to Cyber Incident Response operationsDemonstrated on-the-job experience in an IC IT environmentDemonstrated on-the-job experience with researching and fielding new and innovative technologyDemonstrated on-the-job experience with system administration/engineering, exhibiting research and analysis skills, good communication skills, experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)   Desired PMP or other management experience/certifications Strong security fundamentals and technical acumen   Certifications CISSP, CISM or related SANs certifications preferred, AWS Certified Architect, or other AWS architecting and security training + job experience
