POSITION SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision employee will track purchase in the Procurement Tracking Database, work closely with customer, and help manage material register daily. RESPONSIBILTIES: Act as the subject matter expert for cataloging, disposal, property transfer; and provide oversight for all DRMO/Disposition action for inventory and accountability for all end of life material. Responsible for receiving government approval to turn in equipment. Responsible for uploading turn in information into the ETIDS data base. Responsible for maintaining all DD 1348's for life of contract plus five years.Ensure QA checklist is used on all turn-ins. Contractor support will need access to FEDLOG, LOGSA, setup AMPS account to create ETIDS, also become very familiar with USSOCOM Directive 700-2. Prepare reports on equipment accountability, transfers, disposal, movement, and other supply-related actions, and data calls and maintain SOCS IPT spreadsheet. Interact with internal and external members to accomplish supply tasks, exchange information, resolve issues of moderate complexity, and keep abreast of current functional area policies, and processes. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience, to include: facilitating and expediting the flow of materials to and from various departments, dealing directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations, and inspecting goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications. M ust have a SECRET clearance. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Able to lift up to 50lbs.
