Job Description

We are currently looking for a new Project Manager for our Inter.NET Program team.  Job duties include but are not limited to gathering requirements for your area, developing project schedules, prioritize tasking, and track progress of work towards implementation of requirements.  You will interface with other offices to reconcile issues and advance the progress of projects.  You will work with the team to develop project artifacts to obtain board approvals.  You will serve as the single point-of-contact for the team from a contractual perspective, reporting requirements, and handling team/personnel issues.    Daily Tasks - Facilitate weekly review boards. - Create weekly agenda. - Create meeting minutes. - Interact with customers to provide status of requests, and manage expectations - Function as the primary project manager for the office. - Function as the lead PM for projects. - Communicate project status to staff PM and Division Chief. - Coordinate with external organizations for project dependencies (networks, OED, customers etc.), project schedule tasks. - Create project schedules and create, maintain Enterprise Management project site. - Document and communicate project risks and issues. - Create project documentation including but not limited to Control Gate briefings, MOAs, SSPs, Requirements, FAQs etc. - Work with third party vendor on project requirements, timeline, communications etc. - Approve requests for systems access. - Provide support to operations team located at alternate sites. - Must be able to work with customers at a variety of customer levels (every day user to senior management) EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 12 to 15 years of experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience.   Active Full Scope Polygraph   Required - Experience leading a team of at least 10, including, but not limited to, relationship building, leadership skills, discussing career goals, working employee conflicts, managing expectations etc. - Front line management experience - Experience with Microsoft Project 2010 - Experience managing multiple (2+) projects simultaneously - Familiarity with supporting infrastructure projects - Must have a solid understanding of governance and working in tandem with a government customer - Knowledge of the Project Management Framework (PMF) Desired - Experience with the Enterprise Project Management tool - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
