Functional Analyst Sr. Principal Position Summary: Perform as a Senior Functional Analyst for the Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS II), a legacy CFO-compliant core USAF cost accounting system. CACI's JOCAS II team provides JOCAS II maintenance, sustainment, enhancement that includes software development for system releases, 2nd and 3rd-tier Help Desk support for functional and technical user community, development of training, and architecture modernization. JOCAS II technologies include an Oracle database management system, Oracle Middleware components, Oracle Forms and Reports, and PL/SQL. Staff location is CACI's Beavercreek OH office near Wright Patterson AFB. Position Responsibilities: At direction of a Principal Functional Analyst, performs functional analysis and requirements activities for JOCAS II releases, providing support for analyzing change vehicles including Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Software Problem Reports (SPRs) as they relate to system functional operation. Facilitates communications between customers, Subject Matter Experts and Technical staff. Analyzes and develops release requirements and develops requirements specifications and requirements traceability documents. Supports system test planning and execution. Updates user manuals or operating manuals for functional impacts created by releases and policy changes. Provides effective functional guidance and direction to development team members. In a disciplined engineering environment, collaborates with development team in integrated reviews of requirements and design, including peer reviews. Collaborates with customers to gather information, define work problems and requirements. Supports help desk operations that analyze incident and problem reports managed in the Serena system. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 12 to 15 years of related financial functional analyst experience. - Experienced in functional analysis and testing of DoD accounting and financial applications like JOCAS II and DEAMS. - Experienced in using database query and reporting tools to analyze database requirements and diagnose data problems during testing. - Can obtain Contractor Access Card (CAC) and National Agency Check (NAC). Desired Qualifications: - Experienced in working with Oracle applications and databases. - Experienced in software development with SEI CMMI-DEV Level 3 software engineering processes or equivalent best practices frameworks. - Experienced in using the Serena incident and problem management system. - Familiar with DODAF standard diagrams.
