Work Description: As an Inventory Management & Property Control, a typical day might include the following: - Responsible for coordinating and administering processes for inventories of goods and materials for area of assignment. - Updates electronic records with status/location of items. - Assist in the property inventory process; help reconcile property discrepancies; and assist in the retrieval of information from various databases to accurately track and inventory items. - Scan/create electronic records in order to create auditable financial statements. - Process all types of electronic transactions of property/equipment in the Agency's system or record. - Process requests for vehicles and mileage reports. - Assist in maintaining table of vehicular allowances and vehicle tracking databases. - Assist in maintaining and tracking agency telephones. - Distribute parking permits and FASTOLL devices. Required Qualifications: - TS/SCI with Polygraph Education: - High School diploma or GED equivalent. Desired Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of how to read and interpret routine financial statements. - Oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers' routine questions in a clear and concise manner. - Ability to develop an internal network of professional working relationships within the work unit and with service partners' counterparts in other Offices. - Ability to become familiar with Customer and logistics regulations, policies, and unique authorities. - Some basic knowledge of logistics procedures and policies specific to the area of assignment. - Some basic knowledge of various logistics databases and applications. - Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
