To support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), CACI is seeking qualified professionals to support a regional VA Network Contracting Office (NCO). In this role, you will provide professional acquisition support services and business aid to the customer, and provide support in all aspects of pre-award and post-award functions (excluding negotiation), using a wide range of contracting methods and types. The following is a general description of the support services that you will be required to provide during the life of the resulting task order. The position will include diverse and various acquisitions support responsibilities in support of NCO. You will perform all acquisitions functions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR), and all other applicable regulations and policies. Specifically, you will perform all pre-award procurement functions including, but not necessarily limited to, market research/analysis to determine availability of the requirement; preparing contractual documents such as solicitations, awards, and related documentation using the Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS); coordinating with requiring activities, industry, and other stakeholders; and completing contractual files. You will perform most post-award procurement functions with the exception of (including ordering changes in contract performance or contract quantities, taking action based on evaluations of contractor performance, and accepting or rejecting contractor products or services). LOCATION: Washington, D.C. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: €¢ A minimum of two (2) years of experience in conducting comprehensive acquisition support activities with a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). €¢ Bachelor's Degree with at least 24 semester hours among accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management or a FAC-C or DAWIA Level I in Contacting Certification. €¢ Knowledge and experience within these General IT Systems: EIS (Enterprise Information System); Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat; Inter.NET Explorer; eCMS; FedBiz Ops; CPARS/PPIRS; EPLS; SAM; GSA eBuy. Applicants who possess more than the minimum required work experience or possess a higher level DAWIA/FAC-C Contracting Certification will also be evaluated.
