Job Description

Company Name: BIT Systems Summary: Provide test engineering and systems engineering expertise in support of software development team to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for software components and systems.   Duties and Responsibilities: - Team Lead for a team of 6 - 8 Software Engineers/Developers - Manage software development schedule and performance effort across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle to include CONOP development, requirement analysis, system design, scheduling, integration, verification and validation, training, cost and risk assessment. - Provide strategic and tactical direction for a wide variety of technical problems and new development activities specific to the customer mission - Direct response, investigation, prioritization, and fix implementation for operational discrepancies/issues as they arise - Develop cost and schedule estimates for new development activities Required Qualifications: €¢ Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and 12 - 15 years of related experience in systems and/or software engineering €¢ Must have a current TS/SCI and the ability to obtained and maintain the required polygraph per customer requirements. €¢ Strong communication skills, analytical/problem solving ability, time management and organizational skills €¢ Recent and relevant mission experience   Desired Qualifications: €¢ Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies and guidance
