POSITION SUMMARY: Candidates will provide overall acquisition support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) Ship Self Defense System Office (10.0) by performing complex technical, logistical, and financial functions supporting the Deputy Program Manager (DMPM). RESPONSIBILTIES: - Supports executive level action tracking: Review both internal and external actions. Coordinate within IWS 10 for completion, reviews as necessary and ensure action submission / completion. - Supports IWS Awards Process: Review all award opportunities and make recommendations for candidate personnel / projects. Support award package development, review package against award guidance and ensure on-time submission. - Supports Risk Management: Support Risk manager and Risk coordinators with maintenance of risk management database. - Supports Records Management: Ensure proper preservation of program briefs and records in accordance with both customer and CACI requirements. This will include use of various IT based solutions such as the IWS SharePoint site and the CACI IWS 10 Info Portal. - Supports Managers Internal Control Program (MICP) with annual reporting and periodic program and evaluation requirements. - Assists SSDS Deputy MPM with other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Requires bachelor's degree in relevant academic area such as business administration, logistics, acquisition or contract management, or similar degree field. - 7 years DoD acquisition program support experience. Working knowledge of DoD and NAVSEA 5000 series Program Acquisition Instructions. - Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance. Desired Qualifications: - Experience providing direct acquisition or logistics support to US Navy combat and weapons systems programs. - Working knowledge of the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Integrated Combat System. - Experience working in or with other external DoD organizations including NIPO, OSD, MDA, and Navy Field activities. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
