Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: CACI  has a  opportunity for an  electrical  engineering supervisor to join the technical team in Albuquerque, NM.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads technical staff, defines, designs and develops mobile powers systems and RF communication interfaces ulitizing COTS and GOTS equipment.    -- Assesses architecture and current electrical hardware limitations, defines and designs complex system specifications and working parameters for  electrical interfaces, power distribution equiment and control software compatibility.   -- Analyzes and resolves complex electrical RF communications systems to include  system control and  communications  design deficiencies.   --  Coordinates design RF communications system interfaces and facilitates  system integration for the customer.   --Coordinates and consolidates design efforts   --Conducts independent technical investigations of system design ---Identifies electrical RF communication systems technical performance requirements for current and proposed programs ---Supervises electrical engineering staff ---Member of the engineering leadership team EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related (engineering and project management) experience. One to two year of supervisory experience is also required. Degree Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Bachelor of Science degree. Relevant Experience (amount and type):  5 -7years electrical engineering design experience   Required Core Competencies: Experience with ACAD 3D, Autodesk Inventor drawing capability, Microsoft Office   Desired Qualifications: MS in electrical engineering    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
