Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Under close supervision, assists in developing and defining systems scope and objectives through research combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Supports a software development team in an Agile Scrum Development environment.   Researches, organizes, writes, edits, and produces technical reports for software development projects.  Ensures technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.  The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse team is also crucial.  The program emphasizes innovation, and CACI looks for individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural.    RESPONSIBILTIES: Interviews personnel from functional user area under study to learn general purpose of systems and information requirements of positions involved in the data flow. Analyzes client resources, including funding, personnel, and requirements. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary under direction of more experienced Business System Analyst personnel. May also perform quality assurance duties, such as executing and developing test scenarios.   Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications, to include material for requirements traceability, manuals, instruction guides, technical documentation, and technical diagrams. Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests. Will coordinate with the various teams on the DAMIR Project and with external customers to ensure that technical documentation is complete and accurate. Provide technical editing for product deliverables. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years of applicable experience.   Experience Creating and Maintaining Policy Active Secret Clearance Experience with SharePoint, Visio, Word, Excel Adobe Captivate and Connect Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of agile methodology Excellent written and verbal communication skills   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
