This search is focused on identifying a Vice President for CACI's National Solutions and Support (NSS) Operating Group (OG) with National and Cyber Solutions (NCS). This OG has revenues over $60M and provides a range of National solutions, products, and services supporting various complex programs and customers. Duties include maintaining performance and customer satisfaction on Operating Group contracts, developing new business opportunities, and administration of Operating Group personnel. This is a critical leadership role with high growth potential. Primary work location is Sterling, VA and Sarasota, FL with CONUS travel to customer/company locations.

The NSS VP will lead a portfolio of complex projects covering a variety of technologies to include Product and System Development, Software Development, System Integration, Operations, Sustainment, and Field Support Services. The portfolio value of this business unit is more than $60M and includes fixed price, time and material, and cost plus prime contracts and subcontracts. The client base includes the Intel Community, the Special Programs community, and all DoD.
The NSS VP will provide the strategic vision and associated roadmap to ensure continued growth and success of the Operating Group across the Intel Community, the Special Programs community, and DoD market spaces. The NSS VP will serve as the key operational leader and be fully accountable for the ongoing success of the Operating Group, reporting to the EVP of the National and Cyber Solutions Business Group.
While the NSS VP will leverage and maximize a strong current base of business and opportunity pipeline, the successful candidate will also be expected to develop new business within the key market segments of the business. As such, the candidate will have demonstrated the ability to develop an enhanced vision and have a proven track record of operationalizing such a plan and organically growing an organization. Furthermore, the candidate will identify, advocate and drive Merger & Acquisition (M&A) target companies to expand the capabilities and profitability of the NSS Operating Group. The candidate will drive the pursuit and capture of major opportunities through the leadership of a management team made up of subordinate VPs and Directors. Concurrently, the candidate will continue to develop and scale the talent level within the NSS Group.
Additional responsibilities include:
Full P&L and contract/task management responsibilities include technical, cost, schedule, compliance, staffing, customer satisfaction and financial reporting.
Supporting the company's market strategy including the Intelligence Systems and Support (ISS) market.
Supporting the company's Electronic Warfare Initiative (EWIT), working closely with EWIT leaders on strategy and execution.
Working directly with key Business Group subordinate executives to support efforts in growing their respective lines of business and developing adjacent markets.
Continuing to develop and scale the leadership team, and developing a detailed succession plan.
Using established relationships, and developing new ones with key decision makers and acquisition officials, to lead/win new business.
Implementing consistent and standard processes for business planning and forecasting, staffing, delivery, reporting, and client relationship management.
Maintaining contractual and programmatic oversight of all projects within the Operating Group through effective communications.
Working closely with peers of sister Operating Groups and Business Groups, and corporate staff to ensure effective pursuit strategies for programs that require multi-operating/business group collaboration.
Providing clear and concise communications up, down, and across CACI.
Coordinating the business development activities of the Operating Group with Corporate Business Development to ensure continued profitable revenue growth.
Overseeing business development opportunities within allocated Bid and Proposal funding and research and development allocations.
Representing CACI at an executive level across the key market spaces as well as with industry-partner executives.
Keeping alert to, and creating opportunities for, potential acquisitions that complement CACI's capabilities and make it more competitive in the NSS market.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a 4-year degree in business administration, computer sciences, engineering, marketing or related technical field. A master's degree in business or computer sciences is preferred. Requires 8 to 12 years of line management experience in a for-profit organization, with at least 5 years of P&L responsibility.
The successful candidate should have:
Bachelors' Degree (or equivalent) - in a technical, science, or engineering discipline with minimum of 15 years applying NSS solutions to meet business needs; Master's degree preferred in either Business or Technical domain.
Security Clearance -“ Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a current Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) with experience operating with the Special Programs community (current adjudication preferred)
P&L experience - minimum of 10 years within the government contracting services industry; demonstrated success with managing an annual portfolio valued at $50M or greater in a complex, distributed environment to include Fixed Price, Time and Material, and Cost Plus Prime contracts and subcontracts
Program Management - demonstrated ability to lead a large portfolio of complex projects/programs, in a variety of National Solutions technologies, with multi-year growth and operational excellence within the Government business market space. Program Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Technical Background -“ detailed technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of Electronic Warfare, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Information Technology (IT), engineering, and software development techniques.
Capture Management -“ as Capture Manager, led in a hands-on fashion, at least one successful large capture effort with a value or ceiling exceeding $100M. Proven record of pursuing and winning new business opportunities of significant size, complexity of scope and/or following a unique, complex business model within the NSS markets. Track record of growing business through organic growth that delivered substantial revenue to the organization.
Customer Intimacy -“ Demonstrated ability to earn trust and respect of key customers including successfully managing difficult/delicate customer conversations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact at executive levels of Government and industry.
Business Acumen - Demonstrated experience developing business and market strategies, managing financials, and diverse client base across the Federal marketplace to include the Intel Community, the Special Programs community, the DoD.
