Team CACI has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Wireless Network Operations Support supporting a DHS customer’s wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. The contractor will provide 7x24x365 Operations and Maintenance support to the wireless network environment. The contractor is responsible for the overall platform management, code version and patch management. Working closely with the Network Engineer and Architect team. The contractor will work cooperatively, collaboratively and transparently with all associated organizations to support Network Deployments.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Ensure the overall health and strong security posture of complex network architectures. The Wireless Network Operations Support will be actively involved with all phases of security design, implementation, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and analysis of firewalls, IDSs, VPNs, security controls and policies. Develops system specifications, architecture designs, integration and test plans, and all relevant documentation. Develops security assessment and mitigation strategies. Maintain compliance with DOD Information Assurance requirements as well as ensuring service performance indicators are met or exceeded.

Work with both corporate and customer leadership to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide network security solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.
Supporting technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.
Supporting planning and organizing, to ensure the stable operation of USCIS’s network operations.
Support to include but not limited to, wireless Access Points, wireless Concentrators, wireless authentication, accounting and authorizations tools ISE.
Experience in using the ticketing system for work assignment, tracking and closing.
Identify and resolve any wireless system instabilities.
Assist in Design and implementation, of new wireless technologies.
Support the wireless environment.
Support the monitoring and maintenance of network systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, wireless.
The candidate’s experience with incident management and monitoring and managing incidents and outages in a critical, 24-7 operational environment will be beneficial.
Support the monitoring and response to hardware, software, infrastructure and network problems.
Supports with routine testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment
Knowledge and familiarity with IT management products and services
Knowledge with networking, server, application and development technologies
Domain Knowledge with IT operations, security or compliance is desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Relevant DHS focused experience
Bachelor’s degree, with preference in the computer related field, or equivalent combination of education/ 4+ years of experience
Knowledge in Cisco networking devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, ICE, VPN gateways), Juniper devices, Enterprise WAN technology, Telephony, Voice Over IP, Network Datacenters, Proxy and Firewalls, troubleshooting OSPF.
Knowledge on COTS tools including but not limited to Puppet, Solar Winds, New Relic APM/Synthetics/Insight, Riverbed (Steelheads, SteelCentral, Profiler, Mobile, NetCollector, AppInternals) Cisco Prime, SCOM, Oracle OEM, ARX, Cisco UCS, Cisco ISE, InfoBlox, Ansible, Git/Github/Jenkins and Service Now.
ITIL, CCNA, or HDI Certifications are a plus
