More About the Role:
Provide Digital Media Forensics support to U.S. Army CI activities worldwide.
Provide Digital Media Forensics support to CI investigations, CI operations, CI collection, CI in a Cyber Domain, Host-Based Forensics, TSCM, TEMPEST, CI analysis, and other CI activities.
Facilitate the U.S. Army’s ability to detect, identify, assess, exploit, and counter or neutralize foreign intelligence collection activities directed against the DoD, its personnel, information, materiel, facilities and activities in accordance with DoDD 5240.01, DoD 5240.1-R, DoDD 5240.02, AR 381-20, and AR 381-10.
Support incident response (IR) activities, intrusion events, and malware analysis.
Brief senior leaders on indicators and patterns of CI concern.
Provide technical analysis relating to computer systems, networking and non-standard technical solutions.
Work in a multi-level team providing technical analysis relating to computer systems, networking and non-standard technical solutions.
Conduct all phases of the forensic examination of digital media, including on-site and off-site evidence acquisition/seizures, forensic analysis, and reporting.
Minimum of 2 years of host based forensic experience and must have DoD Certified Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE). The Digital Media Forensics Team as a whole must possess the following qualifications: digital forensic certification, such as Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), or EnCase Certified Examiner; and 2 years of mobile device forensics.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Digital Forensic Certification.
2 years of experience conducting host-based forensics.
Well-honed written and oral English communications and negotiation skills.
