We are seeking a passionate Portfolio Architect to set the technical vision for an entire portfolio on the new TALOS program. TALOS is a DIA initiative to advance the state of the art in Big Data, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics to enhance the DoD’s and the IC’s information processes and technical architectures.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • You’ll have the opportunity to drive the technical vision for an entire portfolio on the TALOS program creating a unified and cutting-edge architecture.
  • Research and prototype technology disruptors that align with the customer mission, then drive the injection of these technologies into the portfolio
  • Act as the senior technical expert for an entire portfolio on the TALOS program
  • Mentor the technical teams
  • Conduct technical briefings both internally and externally to advise on tools and technologies that will enhance the mission.
  • Collaborate with others to develop technical documentation for white papers, CDRLs, ROMs, and proposals

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.   
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience architecting highly creative, resourceful, and ingenious solutions from unusually complicated technical challenges

  • 2+ years of experience in Continuous, integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) as well as SecDevOps processes and tools

  • 10+ years of experience in one or more software languages (i.e. Java, Python, Javascript/NodeJS, Ruby, C, C++)

  • Strong understanding of Linux environments

  • Experience leading teams and working collaboratively in a team environment. * Strong written and oral communication skills.


Nice to Have Qualifications:
  • Experience fulfilling the DIA mission in support of the COCOMs
  • Demonstrated successes in the field of Big Data Analytics
  • Experience with AI/ML/DL (Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc.)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
