Job Description

CACI is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer with Reasonable Accommodation and 508 Compliance experience to coordinate these efforts.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Receive and review Reasonable Accommodation requests for hardware and software submitted by government customers; request additional information to be provided as necessary
  • As the CIO Office Reasonable Accommodation representative, coordinate efforts with the Reasonable Accommodation Department and the IT Services Department to ensure customer requirements are identified and addressed in a timely manner
  • Attend weekly Reasonable Accommodation board meetings; ensure responsibilities are assigned as needed to each department; track progress/status of requests
  • Ensure Reasonable Accommodation workflow process is followed and, if needed, updated to reflect best practices and to ensure efficiency
  • Manage the Internal Use Software (IUS) program
  • Lead the efforts for initiating the Section 508 Compliance program for the CIO’s office
  • Work with the SharePoint development team to create a 508 compliance website for government departments to identify and verify compliance


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Manages technical projects in a large, complex IT environment
  • Coordinate efforts with the Reasonable Accommodation Department and the IT Services Department to ensure customer requirements are identified and addressed in a timely manner
  • Lead the efforts for implementing a Section 508 Compliance program for the CIO’s office
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to accomplish tasks
  • Attend and lead project meetings
  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources
  • Communicate project status with Customer; ensure project remains aligned with department goals
  • Proactively identify and resolve time sensitive project risks, issues, interdependencies, and conflicts, both within and across business units and initiatives, and coordinate implementation
  • Applies best practices in project management, including those used to initiate, plan, control, monitor, and report upon all phases of project activity
  • Adapts processes to improve inefficiencies and accelerate product/capability development
  • Proactively identify and resolve time sensitive project risks, issues, interdependencies, and conflicts, both within and across business units and initiatives, and coordinate implementation
  • Manages operational aspects of the Enterprise program, which includes multiple ongoing projects in support of multiple major, corporate strategic initiatives


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Poly is required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a Business or IT related field 4 years of related experience; or a Masters with 2 years of experience; an Associates with 6 years of experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required. Ability to create original documentation.
  • Experience with 508 compliance
  • Experience with Reasonable Accommodation software and/or hardware
  • Experience with enterprise-level deployments, to include customer governance, policy definitions, policy management and automation, and customer interfaces used to deliver integrated security solutions across multiple security domains
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Scrum Master certification
