Project Description: Custom applications support for a classified client. Providing services and support for customer’s applications, enhancements, and operations and maintenance while utilizing latest cloud based technologies with-in the Agile framework.

What You’ll Get to Do:


Team is seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a dynamic and exciting data engineering team.  As the lead, you will be responsible for the overall vision and design and development progress of a new, highly performing enterprise data division. Expected understanding of industry best practices and data modeling techniques. Successful candidate will be experienced in data design, enterprise data, reporting, visualization, and overall data architecture concepts. It is highly desired that the candidate have a background with creating and managing complex ETL packages to extract data from various data sources and load into a first-class data warehouse. 


More About the Role:

  • Seeking an innovative data subject matter expert capable of identifying new ways to standardize existing data processes and optimizing current workflows
  • Working on a data development team to provide technical guidance and support
  • Team structured with-in the Agile/Scrum development process

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with database management systems (Oracle, PostGres, MySQL) 
  • Familiar with Serverless framework (Lambda, Step Functions)
  • Experience creating Data Mapping documents, data dictionaries and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Documented experience improving application, schema and data design to meet demanding enterprise data solution
  • Documented background in data warehouse design and dimensional modeling
  • Excellent skills in DB Schema design and SQL development
  • Knowledge of visualization tools and capable of supporting like (Tableau, Cognos and PowerBI) 
  • Experience with Agile practices
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Active TS SCI with Polygraph Clearance

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible, Python development experience
