Job Description

CACI is seeking a Field Technician, experienced with installation, testing and configuration of healthcare equipment and the technical support thereof.  The Field Technician is a Part Time/Part-Time On Call (PT/PTOC) position supporting the Telehealth Project for our client.

If you have a passion for providing the highest level of equipment and quality support for patients in ICU, hospital environments and other various related sites, then CACI wants to speak with you.  The Field Technician will have a passion for patientcare, an adept. attention to detail and the technical experience to support this broad reaching, vital project.   

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Assist with installing Audio/Video equipment in ICU rooms at various client sites.
  • Interaction with clients in a hospital environment.   
  • Install various Audio/Video equipment in ICU rooms, configure equipment and test equipment.
  • Installation of low voltage cable and HDMI cables and termination of cables required
  • Maintain inventory of A/V consumables for fixed and portable equipment


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Up to 3 Years in a technical healthcare support environment
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of AV/VI equipment and configurations.
  • Experienced with the Installation of low voltage cable
  • Experienced with HDMI cables, installation, testing and termination required
  • Experienced with Testing, troubleshooting and resolving operational occurrences.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace, time sensitive and quality driven environment
  • Up-to-date shot record
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage cable.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs
  • Ability to travel up to 50%


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in providing assistance with setup, configuration and testing of equipment, systems and peripherals that support patient telehealth encounters.
  • Experience with connection/use/setup of different systems and hardware to be used for Telehealth Consultations/Meetings and other Telehealth point to point sessions.
