CACI is seeking Senior GIS Analysts to support our government customer at Fort Gordon, GA. As the selected candidate, you will have at least 6 years of experience in geospatial analysis and possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
More About the Role:
Perform research in support of national and theater customers to answer requests for information.
Create maps, charts, graphs, map services and/or other cartographic representations of data using GIS software.
Build, manipulate and update both personal and enterprise geospatial databases.
Candidates may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays and other non-standard hours in support of military forces operating in their respective theaters.
One of the following combinations of education/experience:
Master’s degree in geographic or related science, and at least two years of experience in geospatial analysis
Bachelor's degree in geographic or related science, and at least four years of experience in geospatial analysis
Six years of experience in geospatial analysis
Fluency in the Python programming language, including the ability to identify gaps and apply Python development principles to gain efficiencies
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current US DOD TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
Experience in creating mapping and geospatial analytic products using either Esri’s ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, or Quantum GIS (QGIS)
Experience working with enterprise geospatial databases including by not limited to SQL Spatial, Oracle Spatial, PostGreSQL/PostGIS, etc.
Familiarity with any 3D and CAD program, including but not limited to SketchUp, AutoCAD, Blender, Maya, 3D Studio Max, etc.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience supporting military operations planning;
Experience and knowledge of the special operations planning and execution process;
Experience with developing content for 3D gaming engines, including but not limited to Unity or Unreal Engine
Experience in LiDAR and other high-resolution terrain analysis in support of military operations
