CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, is seeking a Senior JAVA Software Engineer to support a large, prime Intelligence contract in Hanover, MD. This Program provides mission critical Enterprise Application Messaging and Authorization Services worldwide and is highly visible! It is comprised of complex data transport, enterprise audit, authorization services, information transport services/application messaging, and enterprise application hosting services.
What You’ll Get to Do:
As an experienced Software Engineer, you will:
Build performance-monitoring solutions for web applications.
Instrument applications in order to capture performance metrics and create dashboards depicting that performance.
Evaluate customer web applications to recommend appropriate instrumentation solutions for monitoring and will utilize COTS, open source, and custom monitoring solutions.
Leverage Elastic stack to store and visualize the performance metrics.
Leverage AWS cloud computing and services including infrastructure automation.
Integrate open source and COTS products in a secure environment with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.
Utilize your understanding of network, operating system, application and end-point performance, tuning and measurements.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of Software Engineering experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
Current TS/SCI poly clearance
2+ years UNIX scripting
Proficient in UNIX commands
Proficient in Windows
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with AppDynamics
Experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)
Experience with Jenkins
Experience with Selenium
Experience with AWS Cloud
Experience with ansible or Terraform
MicroFocus Business Service Management (BSM) tool suite experience:
MicroFocus Operations Bridge/Operations Manager I (OMi)
System administration background
