Job Description

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a large, prime Intelligence contract in Hanover, MD.  This Program provides mission critical Enterprise Application Messaging and Authorization Services worldwide.  It is comprised of complex data transport, enterprise audit, authorization services, information transport services/application messaging, and enterprise application hosting services.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will provide Software Engineering and web development support to the Processing Analytic Capabilities front office in support of PAC Infrastructure. The work on this task includes designing, coding, testing, and maintaining data collection and visualization tools that allow PAC Leadership to make effective, data-driven decisions regarding resource and mission management.

You will also be required to gather and define requirements, and unless mandated, determine the most effective strategy to implement them. Initial development will be derived from an existing, previously implemented PAC application, in order to enact high priority, near term requirements.

As the requirements evolve, you will be tasked with creating new innovations that expand on existing functionality, as well as continued maintenance. Additionally, you will be required to maintain configuration management, as well as awareness of continued integration with corporate data sources.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline and 10 years Software Engineering experience.  Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Current TS/SCI Poly clearance
  • 3+ years work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains
  • Application Development
    • HTML/CSS
    • MEVN Stack Software
    • MongoDB Database Technology
    • Express Web Server
    • Vue.js and the Vuetify Framework
    • NodeJS
    • Knowledge of Docker Configuration Management
    • Knowledge of JSON Manipulation
    • Familiarity with presentation libraries and dashboard composition
    • Knowledge of Corporate Authentication Services and application integration
    • Knowledge of Gitlab procedures/documentation and proper code etiquette
  • Environment Hosting
    • Knowledge of Centos7 Operating System
    • Knowledge of C2S/AWS Web Hosting
      • EC2/RDS
      • ELB
    • Knowledge of automated account creation/management via Ansible/Salt
    • Knowledge of Coporate Compliance Policies and Integration

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • 3+ years Systinet COTS product experience developing and maintaining software.
  • 5+ years Oracle WebLogic experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and testing.
  • 5+ years Java, Java EE, Maven and Eclipse experience.
  • 5+ years Metamatrix experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting and testing.
  • 4+ years experience with the Google Web tool kit (GWT).
