CACI is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to support our client in Dahlgren, VA. As the Junior Test Engineer, you will provide development and maintenance of existing and needed tool suites using Java, Python, C/C++ and maintain/execute routine manual and automated test standards to test information technology products, equipment, and systems. Additionally, you will perform unit, functional, or system level test of tactical weapon system software.
This position requires one or more (1+) year(s) of programming experience in the following languages:
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide development and maintenance of existing and needed tool suites using Java, Python, and C.
Maintain and execute routine manual and automated test standards to test information technology products, equipment, and systems.
Perform unit, functional, or system level test of tactical weapon system software.
Design test procedures and provide some technical expertise on specific products, operating systems, and specialized environments.
Configure hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Participate in the development of test environments using test automation tools and agile methods.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current DOD Secret security clearance
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Required programming experience in the following languages: C/C++, Java, and Python
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with naval weapons systems and their sub components, general purpose tools, and Launcher.
Experience with the operation and maintenance of naval weapons systems equipment aboard a surface or subsurface platform.
Experience using navy Operating Procedures, Standard Maintenance Procedures, Casualty Procedures, Corrective Maintenance Procedures, and other reference documentation required to maintain/operate navy weapons systems.
Experience with fleet operations and battle group operations.
